Women's Day - some thoughts

Why to have a separate Woman's Day? After more than 3 years of living in the same roof with a member of the opposite sex, I believe 24x7x52 is woman's hour - actually it is the men who get very few chance to talk, to do what they like and to just have fun just like the bachelor days! Indeed, men desperately need a MAN'S DAY / MEN'S DAY (whatever you call, it's the same thing at the end) - one day where the wives would listen to them and agree to whatever they say, one day they can do whatever (mindless!) they like to do without worrying about what explanation they have to give at the end of the day to their respective better halves! But some dreams are never fulfilled. I have seen plenty of liberated women - how many have seen a liberated MAN?

Next morning: Calangute Beach!

Here we come - Calangute Beach. Next morning was cloudy and it was raining from the early morning itself. We managed to start early after breakfast. In Calangute beach we managed a good accomodation at a cheaper rate and finally at around 12 we started with a plan to visit at least all beaches in North Goa.

In Goa: the Miramar Beach

As I mentioned in an earlier post, we (me, my wife, my father-in-law & mother-in-law) went to Goa by a hired cab. I haven't bought yet my own car - probably this year I'll buy. Anyway, the journey was long - but enjoyable. Only concern was that our driver did not know anything about Goa. Thanks to the progress in internet & more specifically Google, I managed to download a map of Goa and thereby, I became the tour planner.

We reached Goa around midnight and had a raw deal at a hotel on Miramar Beach. We spent one day there and then moved on to a better hotel at Calangute Beach. I'll tell the story some other day. As I mentioned, we arrived at mid-night and didn't have time or energy to look at the beach. Next morning we woke up early and saw the fantastic Miramar Beach at its best. The beach is good and clean and presented a pristine beauty. Look at the photographs below to believe me. By the by, I broke my Sony Cybershot last year and all the pictures here are taken on my Nokia mobile. It has a pretty good camera (3.2 megapixel).
